The Economic Research Guardian is a scientific journal edited by Prof. Mihai Mutascu, operating under an 'open-access' model with no submission, publication, or subscription fees.
Editorial activity is voluntary, with no economic benefits. As there is no economic activity, the editor privately covers all related journal's operational costs, including web domain registration and yearly extensions, server hosting, and the creation, development, and maintenance of the journal's web platform using the Weebly.com service and its related tools (many of which are payable).
